Ingredients
- Cranberries, dried 100 g
- Apple juice 100 ml
- Cream cheese, plain 100 g
- Honey 2 tsp
- Brioche loaf 1 pc.
- Eggs 3 pc.
- Milk 150 ml
- Brown sugar 1 tbsp
- Cinnamon pinch
- Butter 4 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Place the cranberries in the apple juice and let them soak in a tall container for about 10 minutes. Then drain the liquid, reserving about 2 tablespoons, and puree the cranberries together with the apple juice and the cream cheese. Sweeten with honey to taste.
- 2. Cut the brioche into four thick slices. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, and cinnamon. Briefly dip the bread slices in the mixture so they absorb the egg milk but do not become too soft.
- 3. Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat and fry the bread slices in it for about 3–4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Drizzle with a little honey and serve with the cranberry cream cheese. Enjoy your meal!
