  1. 1. Fold two small bowls out of baking paper that fit exactly into your air fryer basket and are about 3 centimeters high.
  2. 2. Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm water and let the mixture rest covered for about 10 minutes.
  3. 3. Add flour, 2 teaspoons of salt, and 3 tablespoons of olive oil to the yeast mixture.
  4. 4. Process the ingredients with a hand mixer and a dough hook to form a smooth dough.
  5. 5. Divide the dough into two equal halves and place them in the prepared baking paper bowls.
  6. 6. Let the dough rise covered in a warm place for about 1 hour until it has doubled in size.
  7. 7. Wash the rosemary and thyme and shake them dry.
  8. 8. Pluck the needles and leaves from the stems.
  9. 9. Mix the herbs with 4 tablespoons of olive oil.
  10. 10. Press indentations regularly into the surface of the dough pieces with your fingers.
  11. 11. Distribute the herb oil evenly over the dough.
  12. 12. Sprinkle the focaccia with some coarse salt.
  13. 13. Place one focaccia in the basket of the air fryer.
  14. 14. Bake it at 160 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes.
  15. 15. Turn the focaccia over and bake for another 10 minutes at the same temperature.
  16. 16. Repeat the baking process with the second focaccia.
  17. 17. Wash the basil and shake it dry.
  18. 18. Pluck the basil leaves off.
  19. 19. Let the olives drain in a sieve.
  20. 20. Wash the tomatoes and halve them.
  21. 21. Mix the tomatoes with salt, pepper, 2 pinches of sugar, and 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
  22. 22. Fold the drained olives into the tomato mixture.
  23. 23. Sprinkle the tomato salad with the basil leaves.
  24. 24. Serve the focaccia together with the fresh tomato salad.
