  5. 5. Let the dough rise covered in a warm place for about 1 hour until it has doubled in size.
  6. 6. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
  7. 7. Peel the carrots and cut them into quarters lengthwise.
  8. 8. Wash the bell peppers, remove the stems and seeds, and cut them into quarters.
  9. 9. Peel the garlic.
  10. 10. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  11. 11. Arrange the carrots, bell peppers, and garlic on the baking sheet.
  12. 12. Drizzle the vegetables with 2 tablespoons of oil.
  13. 13. Roast the vegetables in the oven for about 30 minutes.
  14. 14. Remove the vegetables from the oven and let them cool briefly.
  15. 15. Peel the bell peppers and cut them into strips.
  16. 16. Knead the dough once more briefly.
  17. 17. Sprinkle some flour on a work surface.
  18. 18. Roll out the dough on the floured surface until it matches the size of the baking sheet.
  19. 19. Oil the baking sheet.
  20. 20. Place the dough on the oiled baking sheet.
  21. 21. Distribute the roasted vegetables over the dough.
  22. 22. Gently crush the garlic with your palm.
  23. 23. Wash the rosemary and shake it dry.

  27. 27. Preheat the oven to 225 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.

  29. 29. Drizzle the remaining oil into the indentations.
  30. 30. Sprinkle a little salt over the focaccia.
  31. 31. Bake the focaccia for about 15 to 18 minutes until golden brown.
  32. 32. Remove the focaccia from the oven.
  33. 33. Cut it into pieces.
  34. 34. Serve the focaccia hot or warm.
