🍽️ Flammkuchen with Prosciutto Ham

Ingredients

- leek 2 pcs
- peas, frozen 400 g
- sour cream 300 g
- puff pastry 2 pcs
- olive oil 2 tbsp
- Prosciutto cotto 300 g
- pepper, black ground pinch
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 220 degrees Celsius using the top and bottom heat setting.
- 2. Fill a pot with about two liters of water and add some salt. Bring the water to a boil and place a lid on the pot.
- 3. Take the leek and cut it in half lengthwise. Remove the hard root base at the bottom end.
- 4. Cut the leek into thin rings. Rinse the rings thoroughly in a sieve to remove any dirt.
- 5. Add the leek and peas to the boiling salted water. Cook them for two to three minutes.
- 6. Drain the vegetables in a sieve. Rinse them briefly under cold water to stop the cooking process.
- 7. Take a bowl and mix the sour cream with salt and pepper. Finally, taste the mixture to adjust the seasoning.
- 8. Take the puff pastry sheets along with the baking paper. Roll them out flat on two baking trays.
- 9. Spread the sour cream mixture over the puff pastry sheets. Leave a small border at the edge.
- 10. Take the drained vegetables and mix them in a bowl with one tablespoon of olive oil.
- 11. Distribute the seasoned vegetables evenly over the two puff pastry sheets.
- 12. Place the prosciutto ham evenly on top of the vegetables.
- 13. Slide the baking trays into the oven. Place them on the lowest rack or directly on the oven floor.
- 14. Bake the flammkuchen for about 15 minutes. They are done when they are golden brown.
- 15. Take the flammkuchen out of the oven. Drizzle one tablespoon of olive oil over them.
- 16. Season the flammkuchen to taste with a little more salt and pepper.
- 17. Cut the flammkuchen into pieces. Serve them now and enjoy your meal!
