  3. 3. Add the lukewarm water and one tablespoon of sugar to the yeast.

  5. 5. Let the mixture rest for about 15 minutes.
  6. 6. Mix the flour, salt, and oil in a large bowl.
  7. 7. Pour the yeast water into the flour mixture.
  8. 8. Knead everything into a smooth dough.
  9. 9. Divide the dough into four equal portions.
  10. 10. Shape each portion into a flat bread.
  11. 11. Place the flatbreads on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  12. 12. Cover the flatbreads with a clean kitchen towel.
  13. 13. Let the flatbreads rise in a warm place for about one hour.
  14. 14. Wait until the volume of the flatbreads has approximately doubled.
  15. 15. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
  16. 16. Use top and bottom heat.
  17. 17. Cut a checkerboard pattern into each flatbread using a knife.
  18. 18. Brush the flatbreads with some water.
  19. 19. Sprinkle sesame seeds over them.
  20. 20. Bake the flatbreads in the oven for about 20 minutes.
  21. 21. Remove the flatbreads from the oven when they are golden brown.
  22. 22. Let the flatbread cool down slightly.
