  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 220 °C (top/bottom heat). Chop the figs and walnuts finely. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Combine everything with a hand mixer and dough hooks along with butter and milk to form a smooth dough.
  2. 2. Roll out the dough on a floured work surface with a rolling pin and cut it into 4 circles. Place the scones on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake them for about 15 minutes until golden brown.
  3. 3. Meanwhile, whisk quark with cinnamon and honey in a bowl. Wash the pears, halve them, remove the cores, and cut them into wedges. Slice the scones, spread them with the honey quark, and place the pear wedges on top.
