  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
  2. 2. Take the figs out of the can and put them in a bowl.
  3. 3. Put the walnuts in a separate bowl.
  4. 4. Place the bowls with figs and walnuts on a baking sheet.
  5. 5. Bake the ingredients for 10 minutes in the oven.
  6. 6. Take the baking sheet out of the oven and let the ingredients cool down.
  7. 7. Put the cooled figs and walnuts into a blender.
  8. 8. Blend the ingredients into a fine paste.
  9. 9. Put the mixture into a clean jar.
  10. 10. Seal the jar and store the spread in the refrigerator.
