Ingredients
- Eggs 5 pcs.
- Onions, yellow 2 pcs.
- Garlic cloves 3 pcs.
- Parsley, fresh 1 bunch
- Buns 2 pcs.
- Milk 125 ml
- Beef mince 1 kg
- Salt pinch
- Pepper, black ground pinch
- bacon 500 g
Instructions
- 1. Bring about 500 milliliters of water to a boil in a pot.
- 2. Carefully place the 4 eggs into the bubbling water.
- 3. Boil the eggs for about 10 minutes until hard-boiled.
- 4. Drain the hot water and immediately rinse the eggs under cold water to stop the cooking process (this is called shocking).
- 5. Peel the cooled eggs completely and set them aside.
- 6. Peel the onions and the garlic.
- 7. Dice the onions and garlic into very small pieces.
- 8. Wash the parsley thoroughly.
- 9. Dry the parsley well.
- 10. Pick the parsley leaves off the stems.
- 11. Finely chop the parsley leaves.
- 12. Pour the milk over the bread rolls.
- 13. Let the bread rolls soak in the milk for about 10 minutes.
- 14. Mash the soaked bread rolls into a paste using a fork.
- 15. Add the minced meat to the bread mixture.
- 16. Add the raw egg to the mixture.
- 17. Season with salt and pepper.
- 18. Mix everything well until a homogeneous mass is formed.
- 19. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius (top and bottom heat).
- 20. Line a loaf pan with a length of 26 centimeters with slices of bacon.
- 21. Put half of the minced meat mixture into the prepared pan.
- 22. Place the boiled eggs in the center on top of the minced meat layer.
- 23. Cover the eggs with the remaining minced meat mixture.
- 24. Smooth the surface of the mixture.
- 25. Cover the top of the pan again with the remaining bacon slices.
- 26. Place the pan on the middle rack in the oven.
- 27. Bake the Falscher Hase for about 60 minutes.
- 28. Take the Falscher Hase out of the oven.
- 29. Let it cool down briefly.
- 30. Slice the Falscher Hase.
- 31. Plate the dish and enjoy it.
