🍽️ Crispy Falafel Patties

Ingredients
- chickpeas from the can 300 g
- parsley, fresh 20 g
- lemons 1 pc.
- garlic cloves 1 pc.
- shallots 1 pc.
- wheat flour, type 405 2 tbsp
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- oil 6 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Place the chickpeas in a colander and let the water drain well.
- 2. Wash the parsley thoroughly, pat it dry, and remove the thick stems.
- 3. Finely chop the parsley.
- 4. Rinse the lemon and grate about one teaspoon of the zest.
- 5. Cut the lemon in half and squeeze out the juice.
- 6. Peel the garlic and roughly crush or chop it.
- 7. Halve the shallots, peel them, and chop them finely.
- 8. Add the chickpeas, parsley, shallots, garlic, lemon zest, two tablespoons of lemon juice, some flour, salt, and pepper into a tall blending cup.
- 9. Blend the ingredients until you have a fine, smooth paste.
- 10. Wet your hands with a little water.
- 11. Shape the mixture into about twelve flat patties.
- 12. Heat oil in a frying pan until it is very hot.
- 13. Fry the patties on both sides for about three to four minutes until golden brown.
