  1. 1. Wash the strawberries thoroughly, remove the stems, and dice them. Cut the lemon in half and squeeze out the juice.
  2. 2. In a pot, combine the strawberries with the lemon juice, water, vanilla sugar, and sugar, and bring to a boil over medium heat. Let simmer for about 5 minutes while stirring occasionally, until the strawberries break down. Skim off any foam that forms.
  3. 3. Strain the syrup through a fine sieve and pour it hot into clean bottles that have been rinsed with hot water. Seal the strawberry syrup well and let it cool. Cheers! Tip: You can use the strawberry syrup to enhance cocktails or desserts.
