Ingredients
- strawberries 1 kg
- lemons 1 pc
- jam sugar 500 g
Instructions
- 1. Wash the strawberries thoroughly.
- 2. Remove the green leaves from the berries.
- 3. Cut the lemon in half.
- 4. Squeeze the juice from the lemon.
- 5. Place the prepared strawberries into the blender.
- 6. Puree the berries for 15 seconds on setting 4.
- 7. Add the jam sugar to the strawberry mixture.
- 8. Add 4 tablespoons of lemon juice.
- 9. Cook the mixture for 20 minutes on setting 2 at 100 degrees Celsius.
- 10. Drop a teaspoon of the hot jam onto a cold plate.
- 11. Wait about one minute and check if the mass firms up.
- 12. If it is still liquid, cook it for another 1 to 2 minutes.
- 13. Repeat the test until the jam is firm.
- 14. Fill the hot jam into previously cleaned screw-top jars.
- 15. Seal the jars tightly.
- 16. Place the jars upside down to cool.
