🍳 Fresh Strawberry Jam

Ingredients
- Strawberries 1 kg
- Lemons 1 pcs
- Jam sugar 500 g
Instructions
- 1. Wash the strawberries thoroughly.
- 2. Remove the green leaves from the berries.
- 3. Cut the strawberries into quarters.
- 4. Cut the lemon in half.
- 5. Squeeze the juice from the lemon.
- 6. Place the prepared strawberries in a pot.
- 7. Add three tablespoons of lemon juice to the pot.
- 8. Add the pectin sugar to the pot.
- 9. Set the stove to medium heat.
- 10. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- 11. Let the jam simmer for about four minutes.
- 12. Take one teaspoon of the warm jam.
- 13. Dab the jam onto a cold plate.
- 14. Wait for about one minute.
- 15. Check if the jam has set.
- 16. If it is firm, it is ready.
- 17. If it is still liquid, cook it for one to two minutes longer.
- 18. Repeat the setting test if necessary.
- 19. Fill the hot jam into four clean screw-top jars.
- 20. Use jars with a capacity of 250 milliliters.
- 21. Seal the jars tightly.
- 22. Place the sealed jars upside down on their lids.
- 23. Let the jars cool down.
