🍰 Strawberry Mint Quark Glasses

Ingredients
- Strawberries 500 g
- Lemons 1 pcs
- Brown sugar 70 g
- Mint, fresh 20 g
- Quark 20 % Fett i.Tr. 200 g
- Whipping cream 200 g
Instructions
- 1. Wash the strawberries thoroughly under running water.
- 2. Remove the green leafy tops from the strawberries.
- 3. Slice the strawberries into thin pieces.
- 4. Rinse the lemon under hot water to clean the surface.
- 5. Grate about one teaspoon of the lemon zest finely.
- 6. Cut the lemon in half.
- 7. Squeeze the juice out of the lemon.
- 8. Place the cut strawberries into a bowl.
- 9. Add 20 grams of sugar to the strawberries.
- 10. Add the grated lemon zest.
- 11. Add the squeezed lemon juice.
- 12. Mix all ingredients in the bowl thoroughly.
- 13. Wash the mint under running water.
- 14. Shake the mint dry until no water remains on it.
- 15. Pluck the mint leaves off the stems.
- 16. Set aside a few nice mint leaves for decoration.
- 17. Finely chop the rest of the mint.
- 18. Place the chopped mint into a separate bowl.
- 19. Add the quark (curd) to the mint.
- 20. Add the remaining sugar.
- 21. Mix the quark, mint, and sugar well together.
- 22. Place the cream into another bowl.
- 23. Whip the cream stiff using a hand mixer and whisk.
- 24. Gently fold the whipped cream into the quark-mint mixture.
- 25. Layer the mint-quark cream and strawberries alternately into glasses.
- 26. Finish the layers with a few fresh strawberries on top.
- 27. Store the glasses in the refrigerator until you are ready to serve.
- 28. Decorate the glasses with the reserved mint leaves.
- 29. Enjoy your meal!
