🍰 Crispy Strawberry Crumble with Vanilla Ice Cream

Ingredients
- strawberries, frozen 700 g
- organic lemon 1 pc.
- brown sugar 8 tbsp
- cinnamon 0.25 tsp
- vanilla sugar 2 packets
- oats, fine 80 g
- butter 60 g
- wheat flour, Type 405 40 g
- vanilla ice cream 4 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Take the frozen strawberries out of the freezer to let them thaw.
- 3. Wash the lemon thoroughly.
- 4. Grate about one teaspoon of the lemon zest.
- 5. Take a bowl and add four tablespoons of raw cane sugar.
- 6. Add cinnamon and vanilla sugar to the raw cane sugar in the bowl.
- 7. Add the grated lemon zest.
- 8. Mix all ingredients in the bowl well together.
- 9. Place the thawed strawberries into a baking dish.
- 10. Mix the strawberries in the dish with the prepared lemon sugar mixture.
- 11. Take a second bowl for the crumble topping.
- 12. Add rolled oats to this bowl.
- 13. Add four tablespoons of raw cane sugar to the oats.
- 14. Add butter and flour.
- 15. Knead the ingredients together with your hands to form small crumbs.
- 16. Distribute the crumbs evenly over the strawberries in the baking dish.
- 17. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven.
- 18. Bake the crumble for about 30 minutes until it is golden brown.
- 19. Take the crumble out of the oven.
- 20. Let it cool down briefly until it is lukewarm.
- 21. Serve the strawberry crumble with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
