  1. 1. Wash the strawberries thoroughly and pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
  2. 2. Remove the green stems from the strawberries and cut them into small pieces.
  3. 3. Peel the shallots and cut them into fine cubes.
  4. 4. Peel the ginger and grate it finely.
  5. 5. Wash the peppers and remove the stems.
  6. 6. Slice the peppers into thin rings.
  7. 7. Place all prepared ingredients into a pot.
  8. 8. Add salt and pectin sugar, then mix everything well.
  9. 9. Let the mixture rest for about 30 minutes.
  10. 10. Pour the vinegar into the pot.
  11. 11. Bring the mixture to a boil while stirring occasionally.
  12. 12. Simmer the chutney for about 3 minutes while stirring constantly.
  13. 13. Season the chutney with salt to taste.
  14. 14. Let the chutney cool down completely.
  15. 15. Fill the still hot chutney into jars with twist-off lids.
  16. 16. Seal the jars immediately after filling.
  17. 17. Store the chutney in a cool place.
