🍲 Creamy Pea Soup with Fried Sausages

Ingredients
- onions, yellow 1 pc.
- soup vegetables 1 bunch
- potatoes, floury 800 g
- bacon strips 100 g
- oil 1 tbsp
- vegetable broth 1.3 L
- peas, frozen 750 g
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- Vienna sausages 8 pcs.
- vinegar 3 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Peel the onion and cut it in half.
- 2. Thoroughly wash the mixed vegetables.
- 3. Peel the mixed vegetables and cut them into large chunks.
- 4. Peel the potatoes and rinse them.
- 5. Dice the potatoes roughly.
- 6. Place the mixed vegetables and potatoes into the mixing container.
- 7. Chop the vegetables for 8 seconds on speed 6.
- 8. Transfer the chopped vegetables into a bowl and set aside.
- 9. Place the onion halves into the empty mixing container.
- 10. Chop the onion for 5 seconds on speed 8.
- 11. Use a spatula to push the onion pieces down.
- 12. Add the bacon strips and oil to the container.
- 13. Fry the ingredients for 5 minutes on the sauté setting without the lid.
- 14. Add the prepared mixed vegetables to the pan.
- 15. Pour in the hot broth.
- 16. Add 500 grams of peas.
- 17. Season the soup with salt and pepper.
- 18. Let the soup cook for about 30 minutes on speed 1 at 120 degrees until soft.
- 19. Place the sausages into the deep steam cooking insert.
- 20. Place the steam cooking insert onto the device.
- 21. Steam the sausages for 15 minutes.
- 22. Remove the steam cooking insert after the cooking time.
- 23. Keep the sausages warm.
- 24. Puree the soup for 10 seconds on speed 6.
- 25. Add the remaining peas to the soup.
- 26. Warm the soup again for 5 minutes at 100 degrees.
- 27. Finally, adjust the seasoning of the soup with salt, pepper, and vinegar.
- 28. Serve the soup together with the warm sausages.
