Ingredients
- Salt pinch
- Peas, frozen 200 g
- Mint, fresh 10 g
- Crusty bread 0.5 pc.
- Olive oil 1 tbsp
- Honey 0.5 tsp
- Pepper, black ground pinch
- Cream cheese, plain 150 g
Instructions
- 1. Bring about 1 liter of salted water to a boil in a pot. Cook the peas in the boiling water for about 3 minutes. Drain in a sieve and rinse with cold water.
- 2. Wash the mint thoroughly, shake it dry, pluck the leaves from the stems, and chop them finely. Cut the crusty bread into four slices.
- 3. In a bowl, combine the peas with the chopped mint, olive oil, honey, salt, and pepper. Lightly mash the peas while mixing.
- 4. Spread cream cheese on each slice of crusty bread. Top with the pea mixture and serve the pea cream cheese sandwich.
