  1. 1. Heat 200 milliliters of water in a pot until it boils.
  2. 2. Pour the boiling water over the tea bags in a bowl.
  3. 3. Let the tea steep for about 10 minutes.
  4. 4. Remove the tea bags from the liquid.
  5. 5. Let the black tea cool down completely.
  6. 6. Wash the lemon thoroughly under running water.
  7. 7. Cut the lemon into eight equal pieces.
  8. 8. Wash the mint and shake it dry.
  9. 9. Pluck the mint leaves off the stems.
  10. 10. Squeeze a piece of lemon slightly over a glass to catch the juice.
  11. 11. Place the squeezed lemon piece into the glass.
  12. 12. Add the mint leaves to the glass.
  13. 13. Add ice cubes to the glass.
  14. 14. Pour the cooled black tea over the ingredients.
  15. 15. Serve the iced tea sweetened to your liking with sugar, agave syrup, or honey.
