  5. 5. Add the eggs and sugar to the butter alternately.
  6. 6. Mix the mixture well after each addition.
  7. 7. Stir the milk into the butter-sugar-egg mixture.
  8. 8. Add the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder.
  9. 9. Mix everything together into a smooth batter.
  10. 10. Gently fold the roughly chopped couverture into the batter.
  11. 11. Pour the batter into a small greased loaf pan.
  12. 12. Bake the cake in the oven for about 60 minutes.
