🍰 Egg Liqueur Gugelhupf

Ingredients
- Eggs 5 pcs.
- sugar 200 g
- vanilla sugar 1 packet
- oil 200 ml
- egg liqueur 250 ml
- wheat flour, Type 405 250 g
- baking powder 1 packet
- salt pinch
- powdered sugar 200 g
- sour cherry nectar 3 tbsp
- chocolate eggs 100 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 170 °C (convection). In a bowl, beat the eggs together with the sugar and vanilla sugar using a hand mixer until frothy. Stir in the oil and the egg liqueur. Mix the flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt into the batter.
- 2. Grease the Gugelhupf pan and dust it with flour before pouring in the batter. Bake the cake for about 60 minutes. Let it cool down slightly, then carefully turn it out onto a cake rack and let it cool completely.
- 3. For the glaze, mix the icing sugar with the cherry nectar in a bowl. Pour the glaze evenly over the cooled cake. Place the chocolate eggs in the center of the cake and serve it. Enjoy!
