🍽️ Dumpling Bowl with Creamy Peanut Dip

Ingredients
- Carrots 3 pcs.
- Cabbage 1 pcs.
- Spinach 200 g
- Red cabbage, fresh 0.25 pcs.
- Coconut milk 200 ml
- Peanut butter 100 g
- Sesame, white 4 tsp
- Oil 4 tbsp
- Dim Sum or Gyoza 600 g
- Oranges 1 pcs.
- Soy sauce 3 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Peel the carrots and trim off the ends.
- 2. Grate the carrots coarsely.
- 3. Peel the kohlrabi.
- 4. Cut the kohlrabi into slices about half a centimeter thick.
- 5. Cut the kohlrabi slices into sticks.
- 6. Wash the spinach thoroughly.
- 7. Let the spinach drain.
- 8. Remove the outer leaves from the red cabbage.
- 9. Halve the red cabbage.
- 10. Remove the core from the red cabbage.
- 11. Slice the red cabbage into thin strips or shred it finely.
- 12. Pour the coconut milk into a pot.
- 13. Warm the coconut milk over medium heat.
- 14. Stir the peanut butter into the warm coconut milk.
- 15. Keep stirring until a creamy sauce forms.
- 16. Heat a frying pan without fat over medium heat.
- 17. Toast the sesame seeds in the pan for about three minutes.
- 18. Remove the sesame seeds from the pan and set them aside.
- 19. Heat the pan again over medium to high heat.
- 20. Add two tablespoons of oil to the hot pan.
- 21. Place the dumplings in the pan with the flat side down.
- 22. Fry the dumplings for about three minutes until golden brown.
- 23. Add 100 milliliters of water to the pan.
- 24. Cover the pan.
- 25. Steam the dumplings for about ten minutes.
- 26. Halve the orange.
- 27. Squeeze the juice from the orange.
- 28. Put the grated carrots into a bowl.
- 29. Mix the carrots with the orange juice.
- 30. Pour the soy sauce into a separate bowl.
- 31. Add two tablespoons of oil to the soy sauce.
- 32. Whisk the soy sauce and oil together.
- 33. Add the spinach and red cabbage to the soy sauce mixture.
- 34. Toss the salad so it is coated with the dressing.
- 35. Arrange the carrots, kohlrabi sticks, and salad side by side in a bowl.
- 36. Place the dumplings on top of the ingredients.
- 37. Serve the bowl with the peanut sauce.
