Ingredients
- garlic cloves 3 pcs
- olive oil 4 tbsp
- sweet paprika 1 tsp
- oregano, dried 1 tsp
- lamb fillets 600 g
- organic lemons 1 pc
- Greek-style cream yogurt 200 g
- milk 4 tbsp
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- mixed salad greens 125 g
- vine tomatoes 250 g
- cucumbers 1 pc
- basil, fresh 20 g
- mint, fresh 12 g
- sesame, white 5 g
Instructions
- 1. Peel the garlic clove and chop it very finely.
- 2. Put half of the chopped garlic into a small bowl.
- 3. Add two tablespoons of oil, paprika powder, and oregano.
- 4. Stir the ingredients well to create the seasoning oil.
- 5. Rinse the lamb fillets under running water.
- 6. Pat the meat completely dry with kitchen paper.
- 7. Remove any sinews from the meat.
- 8. Place the fillets in a bowl.
- 9. Rub the meat thoroughly with the prepared seasoning oil.
- 10. Set the meat aside to marinate.
- 11. Cut the lemon in half.
- 12. Squeeze the juice from the lemon halves.
- 13. Take a second, clean bowl.
- 14. Put the remaining chopped garlic into this bowl.
- 15. Add yogurt and milk.
- 16. Mix the mixture well.
- 17. Season the sauce with salt and pepper.
- 18. Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice.
- 19. Wash the salad thoroughly under cold water.
- 20. Spin the salad dry.
- 21. Tear the salad into coarse pieces.
- 22. Rinse the tomatoes.
- 23. Remove the hard core at the top of the tomatoes.
- 24. Cut the tomatoes into coarse cubes.
- 25. Wash the cucumber.
- 26. Cut off the ends of the cucumber.
- 27. Peel the cucumber completely.
- 28. Slice the cucumber into thin rounds.
- 29. Rinse the basil and mint.
- 30. Dry the herbs with kitchen paper.
- 31. Pluck the leaves from the stems.
- 32. Take four plates.
- 33. Distribute the salad evenly onto the plates.
- 34. Add the diced tomatoes to the salad.
- 35. Place the cucumber slices on top.
- 36. Sprinkle the basil and mint leaves over the salad.
- 37. Heat the remaining oil in a pan.
- 38. Set the heat to high.
- 39. Fry the lamb meat in the pan.
- 40. Fry the meat on all sides.
- 41. Fry the meat for about eight to twelve minutes.
- 42. Adjust the cooking time to the thickness of the meat.
- 43. Lightly salt the meat while frying.
- 44. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the cooked meat.
- 45. Slice the meat.
- 46. Pour the yogurt sauce over the salad.
- 47. Place the lamb slices on the salad.
- 48. Serve the dish immediately.
