🍽️ DIY Macadamia Nut Butter

Ingredients
- macadamia nuts, roasted and salted 250 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 150 degrees Celsius. Set it to top and bottom heat.
- 2. Spread the macadamia nuts out evenly on a baking sheet.
- 3. Place the tray in the oven and warm the nuts for about 3 to 5 minutes.
- 4. Remove the tray as soon as the nuts feel warm to the touch.
- 5. Be careful not to roast them further so they do not burn.
- 6. Put the warm macadamia nuts into a food processor or blender.
- 7. Blend the nuts for 1 to 2 minutes.
- 8. Stop briefly when the nuts have been crushed into a coarse flour.
- 9. Turn the mixer back on and blend for another 3 to 5 minutes.
- 10. Watch as the flour clumps together into a sticky ball or paste.
- 11. Now continue blending for 6 to 10 minutes.
- 12. The nut oils will be released and the paste will become creamy and liquid.
- 13. Taste the butter before filling it.
- 14. Check if it tastes salty enough to your liking.
- 15. Pour the finished macadamia nut butter into a clean jar.
- 16. Seal the jar airtight.
- 17. Enjoy your meal!
