🍕 Crunchy Spelt Whole Wheat Pizza with Bolognese Topping

Ingredients
- yeast, fresh 0.5 pcs
- water 200 ml
- sugar 1 tsp
- spelt flour, Type 1050 300 g
- spelt flour, Type 630 200 g
- salt pinch
- olive oil 4 tbsp
- cherry tomato mix 200 g
- basil, fresh 10 g
- parmesan 80 g
- beef mince 400 g
- vegetarian bolognese 350 g
Instructions
- 1. Dissolve yeast and sugar in lukewarm water in a bowl.
- 2. Let the mixture rest covered for about 10 minutes.
- 3. Add flour, salt, and oil to the bowl.
- 4. Knead the ingredients for about 5 minutes until you have a smooth dough.
- 5. Let the dough rise covered in a warm place for about 1 hour until it has doubled in size.
- 6. Wash the cherry tomatoes and halve them.
- 7. Wash the basil, dry it, and pluck the leaves off.
- 8. Grate the Parmesan finely.
- 9. Mix the minced meat in a separate bowl with salt and pepper.
- 10. Set the meat mixture aside for a while.
- 11. Preheat the oven to 250 °C with top and bottom heat.
- 12. Work the dough briefly again on a lightly floured surface.
- 13. Divide the dough into four equal portions.
- 14. Roll each portion into a round pizza base.
- 15. Place the pizza bases on baking trays lined with baking paper.
- 16. Spread the vegetarian Bolognese sauce over the pizza bases.
- 17. Tear the minced meat into small pieces and distribute it over the sauce.
- 18. Sprinkle the halved tomatoes and grated cheese over the top.
- 19. Bake the pizzas one after the other for about 15 minutes in the oven until crispy.
- 20. Carefully remove the finished pizza from the oven.
- 21. Sprinkle the pizza with fresh basil and serve.
