  1. 1. Put water in a pot and bring it to a boil.
  2. 2. Peel the ginger and the turmeric root.
  3. 3. Slice the ginger and turmeric into thin pieces.
  4. 4. Rinse the lemon thoroughly with hot water.
  5. 5. Cut one half of the lemon into slices.
  6. 6. Juice the other half of the lemon.
  7. 7. Add the ginger and turmeric slices, as well as the lemon slices, to the boiling water.
  8. 8. Add a pinch of pepper.
  9. 9. Let the tea steep for about 8 minutes.
  10. 10. Strain the tea through a sieve to remove the solids.
  11. 11. Let the tea cool down.
  12. 12. Wash the mint thoroughly.
  13. 13. Dry the mint.
  14. 14. Cut the oranges in half.
  15. 15. Juice the oranges.
  16. 16. Add the lemon juice and orange juice to the cooled tea.
  17. 17. Sweeten the tea with honey to taste.
  18. 18. Fill glasses with ice cubes.
  19. 19. Add fresh mint to the glasses.
  20. 20. Optionally garnish the glasses with lemon slices.
  21. 21. Top up the glasses with the finished iced tea.
