🥤 Fresh Turmeric Ginger Iced Tea

Ingredients
- water 1 L
- ginger, fresh 20 g
- turmeric, fresh 10 g
- lemons 1 pc.
- pepper, black ground pinch
- mint, fresh 10 g
- oranges 2 pc.
- honey 1 tsp
Instructions
- 1. Put water in a pot and bring it to a boil.
- 2. Peel the ginger and the turmeric root.
- 3. Slice the ginger and turmeric into thin pieces.
- 4. Rinse the lemon thoroughly with hot water.
- 5. Cut one half of the lemon into slices.
- 6. Juice the other half of the lemon.
- 7. Add the ginger and turmeric slices, as well as the lemon slices, to the boiling water.
- 8. Add a pinch of pepper.
- 9. Let the tea steep for about 8 minutes.
- 10. Strain the tea through a sieve to remove the solids.
- 11. Let the tea cool down.
- 12. Wash the mint thoroughly.
- 13. Dry the mint.
- 14. Cut the oranges in half.
- 15. Juice the oranges.
- 16. Add the lemon juice and orange juice to the cooled tea.
- 17. Sweeten the tea with honey to taste.
- 18. Fill glasses with ice cubes.
- 19. Add fresh mint to the glasses.
- 20. Optionally garnish the glasses with lemon slices.
- 21. Top up the glasses with the finished iced tea.
