  5. 5. Brush each eggplant slice on both sides with the marinade.
  6. 6. Wrap a single date in an eggplant slice.
  7. 7. Secure the wrap with a toothpick so it does not open.
  8. 8. Place the wraps in the oven and bake them for 15 to 20 minutes.
