  1. 1. Place the dates in a tall container.
  2. 2. Cover the dates with about 200 milliliters of hot water.
  3. 3. Let the dates soak in the water for approx. 5 minutes.
  4. 4. Then drain the water through a sieve.
  5. 5. Puree the drained dates finely together with the cream cheese.
  6. 6. Add 2 teaspoons of curry powder.
  7. 7. Add 1 teaspoon of mustard.
  8. 8. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. 9. Taste the dip and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
  10. 10. Serve the dip with vegetable sticks of your choice.
