🍰 Date & Peanut Butter Chocolate Bars

Ingredients
- Soft dates, dried and pitted 250 g
- Peanut butter 5 tbsp
- Peanuts, roasted and salted 50 g
- Chocolate, dark 150 g
- Coconut flakes 4 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Cut a sheet of baking paper into two equal halves.
- 2. Line a small baking dish with one half of the paper.
- 3. Place the dates in the dish so they slightly overlap.
- 4. Cover the dates with the second half of the baking paper.
- 5. Flatten the dates using a glass or a small pot.
- 6. Carefully remove the top layer of baking paper.
- 7. Spread the peanut butter evenly over the flattened dates.
- 8. Roughly chop the peanuts.
- 9. Sprinkle two-thirds of the chopped peanuts over the peanut butter.
- 10. Set aside the remaining peanuts for later.
- 11. Break the chocolate into small pieces.
- 12. Place the chocolate pieces in a heatproof bowl.
- 13. Melt the chocolate over a bowl of hot water (bain-marie).
- 14. Stir the chocolate until it is completely liquid and smooth.
- 15. Pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer.
- 16. Smooth the chocolate layer with a spoon.
- 17. Sprinkle the remaining peanuts and coconut flakes on top.
- 18. Place the dish in the freezer for about 30 minutes.
- 19. Remove the date mixture from the dish.
- 20. Cut the mixture into bars using a sharp knife.
