🍰 Crunchy Dark Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients
- butter 200 g
- Brown sugar 125 g
- Vanilla sugar 1 packet
- Salt pinch
- Eggs 1 pc
- Cornstarch 1 tbsp
- Wheat flour, Type 405 200 g
- Cocoa powder 2 tbsp
- Baking powder 1 tsp
- Chocolate chunks, milk chocolate 100 g
Instructions
- 1. Turn on the oven to 150 degrees Celsius (convection mode) and let it preheat.
- 2. Take a large bowl and add soft butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, and a pinch of salt.
- 3. Beat the butter-sugar mixture with a hand mixer until it becomes creamy and fluffy.
- 4. Add an egg to the bowl and mix it well into the butter mixture.
- 5. Add cornstarch, flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder to the bowl.
- 6. Knead the ingredients with the mixer or a spoon to form a firm dough.
- 7. Gently fold the chocolate pieces into the dough with a spoon.
- 8. Take two tablespoons of dough and shape them into walnut-sized balls.
- 9. Line two baking trays with baking paper.
- 10. Place the dough balls on the trays with some space between them.
- 11. Put the trays into the preheated oven.
- 12. Bake the cookies for about 15 minutes.
- 13. Take the cookies out when the edges are golden brown.
- 14. Let the cookies cool down completely on a wire rack.
