  3. 3. Heat a pan and melt one tablespoon of butter over medium heat.
  4. 4. Sauté the onion cubes for about two minutes until they look translucent.
  5. 5. Sprinkle curry powder over the onions and stir briefly.
  6. 6. Let the onion mixture cool down completely.
  7. 7. Season the cooled onions with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. 8. Place the seasoned onions into a bowl.
  9. 9. Mix the onions with the remaining soft butter.
  10. 10. Place the butter mixture onto a piece of baking paper.
  11. 11. Shape the mixture into a compact roll.
  12. 12. Twist the ends of the paper tightly.
  13. 13. Place the roll in the refrigerator until the butter is firm.
  14. 14. Remove the butter roll from the paper before serving.
  15. 15. Slice the butter into thick rounds.
