  1. 1. Bring about 500 milliliters of water to a boil in a pot.
  2. 2. Place the almonds in a bowl and pour the boiling water over them.
  3. 3. Let the almonds sit in the water for a short time.
  4. 4. Drain the water and squeeze the almonds to remove their skins.
  5. 5. Pat the peeled almonds dry with a cloth.
  6. 6. Preheat the oven to 150 degrees Celsius (top and bottom heat).
  7. 7. Heat honey, butter, and one tablespoon of water in a pan over low heat.
  8. 8. Stir until the butter has completely melted.
  9. 9. Season the mixture with curry powder, paprika powder, cayenne pepper, and a pinch of salt.
  10. 10. Toss the almonds in the spice mixture until they are well coated.
  11. 11. Place the almonds on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  12. 12. Roast the almonds in the oven for about 30 to 40 minutes.
  13. 13. Turn the almonds once during the roasting time.
  14. 14. Let the almonds cool down on the tray for a short time.
  15. 15. Finally, season them with a little salt.
  16. 16. Let the almonds cool completely before eating them.
