🍽️ Crispy Curry Chicken Cubes on Toasted Bread

Ingredients
- Organic Limes 1 pc
- Chicken breast fillets 300 g
- Curry powder pinch
- Salt pinch
- Pepper, black ground pinch
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Toast bread 6 slices
- Crème fraîche 150 g
- Basil, fresh 10 g
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly wash the lime under running water.
- 2. Cut the lime in half and squeeze out the juice, setting it aside in a small bowl.
- 3. Rinse the chicken breast fillets and pat them dry with kitchen paper.
- 4. Cut the meat into small, bite-sized cubes.
- 5. Place the chicken cubes into a large bowl.
- 6. Add one tablespoon of lime juice, curry powder, salt, and pepper.
- 7. Season the meat thoroughly until all pieces are evenly coated.
- 8. Heat two tablespoons of oil in a large frying pan over high heat.
- 9. Fry the chicken cubes for about three minutes until they are golden brown.
- 10. Cover the frying pan with a lid.
- 11. Let the meat cook for another three to four minutes with the lid closed.
- 12. Toast the bread slices one by one in a toaster or pan until golden brown.
- 13. Cut the toasted bread slices into any shapes you like using a cookie cutter or knife.
- 14. Thoroughly wash the fresh basil.
- 15. Shake the basil dry or pat it gently.
- 16. Pluck the leaves off the stems.
- 17. Finely chop the basil leaves.
- 18. Whisk the crème fraîche until smooth and creamy.
- 19. Gently fold the cooked chicken into the crème fraîche.
- 20. Season the sauce with salt, pepper, and a little lime juice.
- 21. Spread the chicken curry mixture over the toast pieces.
- 22. Sprinkle the dish with the freshly chopped basil.
- 23. Serve the dish immediately and enjoy.
