🍽️ Crispy Shrimp Crostini

Ingredients
- shrimp cooked, frozen 600 g
- onions, yellow 1 pc.
- garlic cloves 1 pc.
- pepper, red 2 pc.
- baguette 1 pc.
- butter 2 tbsp
- salt pinch
- oil 1 tbsp
- pepper, black ground pinch
- white wine, dry 50 ml
Instructions
- 1. Ideally, thaw the shrimp overnight in the refrigerator.
- 2. Rinse the thawed shrimp and pat them dry with kitchen paper.
- 3. Halve the onion, peel it, and cut it into fine cubes.
- 4. Peel the garlic and chop it finely.
- 5. Wash the pepper, halve it, remove the stem and seeds, and dice it.
- 6. Slice the baguette slightly diagonally.
- 7. Heat the butter in a pan over high temperature.
- 8. Fry the shrimp for about 3 minutes.
- 9. Remove the shrimp from the pan and set them aside.
- 10. Reheat the pan over medium heat.
- 11. Toast the bread slices in the pan juices for about 2 minutes until golden brown.
- 12. Remove the crostini from the pan and salt them lightly.
- 13. Reheat the pan to high temperature.
- 14. Add oil to the pan.
- 15. Fry the onions together with the garlic and pepper for approx. 2 minutes.
- 16. Return the shrimp to the pan.
- 17. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
- 18. Deglaze the pan with wine.
- 19. Let the mixture simmer until the wine has evaporated.
- 20. Finally, adjust the seasoning of the filling.
- 21. Spread the shrimp and vegetable mixture onto the crostini.
- 22. Serve the crostini immediately.
