  1. 1. Ideally, thaw the shrimp overnight in the refrigerator.
  2. 2. Rinse the thawed shrimp and pat them dry with kitchen paper.
  3. 3. Halve the onion, peel it, and cut it into fine cubes.
  4. 4. Peel the garlic and chop it finely.
  5. 5. Wash the pepper, halve it, remove the stem and seeds, and dice it.
  6. 6. Slice the baguette slightly diagonally.
  7. 7. Heat the butter in a pan over high temperature.
  8. 8. Fry the shrimp for about 3 minutes.
  9. 9. Remove the shrimp from the pan and set them aside.
  10. 10. Reheat the pan over medium heat.
  11. 11. Toast the bread slices in the pan juices for about 2 minutes until golden brown.
  12. 12. Remove the crostini from the pan and salt them lightly.
  13. 13. Reheat the pan to high temperature.
  14. 14. Add oil to the pan.
  15. 15. Fry the onions together with the garlic and pepper for approx. 2 minutes.
  16. 16. Return the shrimp to the pan.
  17. 17. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
  18. 18. Deglaze the pan with wine.
  19. 19. Let the mixture simmer until the wine has evaporated.
  20. 20. Finally, adjust the seasoning of the filling.
  21. 21. Spread the shrimp and vegetable mixture onto the crostini.
  22. 22. Serve the crostini immediately.
