Ingredients
- butter 85 g
- sugar 125 g
- eggs 1 pc.
- wheat flour, Type 405 150 g
- salt pinch
- vanilla sugar 1 packet
- baking powder 1 tsp
- chocolate, dark 50 g
- croissant 4 pc.
Instructions
- 1. Cut the cold butter into small cubes.
- 2. Place the butter cubes into a bowl.
- 3. Add sugar, egg, flour, salt, vanilla sugar, and baking powder to the bowl.
- 4. Knead the ingredients into a dough using your hands.
- 5. Chop the chocolate into fine pieces.
- 6. Mix the chocolate pieces into the dough.
- 7. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 8. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- 9. Slice the croissants open.
- 10. Spread about one tablespoon of dough onto the bottom croissant halves.
- 11. Place the top croissant halves on top.
- 12. Spread another tablespoon of dough on the top side.
- 13. Place the crookies on the prepared baking tray.
- 14. Bake the crookies in the center of the oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
- 15. Ensure the dough takes on color but does not dry out.
- 16. Remove the crookies from the oven.
- 17. Let them cool down briefly on a wire rack.
