🍰 Classic Crème Brûlée with caramelized sugar crust

Ingredients
- eggs 4 pcs
- heavy cream 300 ml
- milk 200 ml
- brown sugar 70 g
- vanilla sugar 1 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 120 degrees Celsius. Set it to top and bottom heat.
- 2. Separate the eggs. Use only the yolks for this recipe and set the egg whites aside for another use.
- 3. Put cream, milk, 50 grams of sugar, vanilla sugar, and the egg yolks into a large bowl.
- 4. Mix all ingredients in the bowl thoroughly until a homogeneous mixture forms.
- 5. Fill the cream evenly into small, shallow oven-safe dishes.
- 6. Place the small dishes into a large baking dish.
- 7. Pour hot water into the large baking dish until the small dishes are half-submerged in the water.
- 8. Slide the baking dish into the preheated oven.
- 9. Bake the Crème Brûlée for about 45 minutes until the cream has set.
- 10. Remove the dishes from the oven and let them cool for at least 30 minutes until they are fully set.
- 11. Before serving, sprinkle one tablespoon of sugar over each Crème Brûlée.
- 12. Caramelize the sugar with a small blowtorch until it is golden brown and crispy.
