  6. 6. Wait until small bubbles form in the oil.
  7. 7. Reduce the heat to the lowest setting.
  8. 8. Let the garlic cook gently for about 30 to 40 minutes.
  9. 9. Check if the garlic is soft and lightly browned.
  10. 10. Remove the pot from the stove.
  11. 11. Transfer the garlic along with the oil into a clean jar.
  12. 12. Seal the jar tightly with a screw-top lid.
  13. 13. Store the jar in the refrigerator until you are ready to eat the garlic.
  14. 14. Spread the garlic on bread, stir it into dips, or add it to pasta.
