  4. 4. Let the mixture steep at room temperature for 24 hours.
  5. 5. Slice the vanilla pod lengthwise.
  6. 6. Scrape out the seeds from the pod.
  7. 7. Place the vanilla seeds and the empty pod into a separate bowl.
  8. 8. Mix everything with cold milk.
  9. 9. Cover the bowl.
  10. 10. Place the milk in the refrigerator overnight.
  11. 11. Moisten a coffee filter.
  12. 12. Pour the cold brew through the filter to strain it.
  13. 13. Divide the filtered coffee among four glasses.
  14. 14. Sweeten the coffee with sugar to taste.
  15. 15. Remove the vanilla pod from the milk.
  16. 16. Froth the vanilla milk in portions.
  17. 17. Pour the frothed milk over the coffee.
