🍳 Fluffy Cloud Eggs with Crispy Bacon and Fresh Chives

Ingredients
- Eggs 4 pcs.
- Onions, yellow 1 pcs.
- Oil 1 tbsp.
- Bacon strips 100 g
- Chives, fresh 10 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Carefully separate the eggs, keeping the yolks intact and the whites separate.
- 3. Set the egg yolks aside in a small container for later use.
- 4. Place the egg whites into the mixing container of your appliance.
- 5. Whip the egg whites for 3 minutes on speed level 4 until stiff peaks form.
- 6. Divide the egg white foam into four equal portions.
- 7. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- 8. Place each portion of egg white foam individually onto the prepared tray.
- 9. Use the back of a spoon to press a small indentation into the center of each egg white mound.
- 10. Carefully place one egg yolk into the indentation of each portion.
- 11. Bake the cloud eggs for about 10 minutes in the preheated oven.
- 12. Clean the mixing container thoroughly while the eggs are baking.
- 13. Halve the onion and remove the outer skin.
- 14. Place the onion pieces into the clean mixing container.
- 15. Chop the onion for 4 seconds on speed level 8.
- 16. Use a spatula to scrape down the sides of the container, pushing the onion pieces to the bottom.
- 17. Add 1 tablespoon of oil and the bacon strips to the container.
- 18. Fry the mixture for 4 minutes on the sauté setting.
- 19. Rinse the chives under running water.
- 20. Shake the chives dry.
- 21. Cut the chives into fine rings.
- 22. Carefully remove the baked cloud eggs from the oven.
- 23. Mix the chives with the fried bacon and onion mixture in a bowl.
- 24. Plate the cloud eggs.
- 25. Sprinkle the eggs with the bacon and chive mixture.
- 26. Serve the dish immediately and enjoy!
