Ingredients
- Apples, red 2 pcs.
- Brown sugar 130 g
- Lemon juice 1 tbsp.
- Eggs 2 pcs.
- butter 100 g
- Wheat flour, Type 405 200 g
- Baking powder 1.5 tsp.
- Salt pinch
- Vanilla extract 1 tsp.
- Milk 200 g
- Sugar 100 g
- Cinnamon 2 tsp.
- Oil 20 ml
Instructions
- 1. Cut the apples into quarters and remove the core.
- 2. Dice the apple pieces into small cubes.
- 3. Heat 50 grams of brown sugar in a frying pan.
- 4. Fry the apple cubes in the sugar until it caramelizes.
- 5. Add the lemon juice to the apples.
- 6. Remove the roasted apples from the pan and set them aside.
- 7. Mix the eggs with 80 grams of brown sugar.
- 8. Add the butter, flour, baking powder, salt, vanilla extract, and milk.
- 9. Beat the ingredients with a hand mixer or blender until you have a smooth batter.
- 10. Fold the prepared roasted apples into the batter.
- 11. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a shallow plate.
- 12. Grease the waffle iron with a little oil.
- 13. Bake the waffles in the waffle iron until golden brown.
- 14. Roll the finished waffles in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
