🍰 Crispy Churros with Spicy-Sweet Chocolate Dip

Ingredients
- Churros with cinnamon and sugar 225 g
- Vanilla pod 1 pc.
- Chocolate, dark 100 g
- Whipping cream 50 ml
- Chili salt pinch
- Sugar pinch
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius with fan.
- 2. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- 3. Spread the churros evenly on the tray.
- 4. Bake the churros in the oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
- 5. Remove the churros when they are golden brown and crispy.
- 6. Place the hot churros on kitchen paper to absorb excess grease.
- 7. Put the churros into a large bowl.
- 8. Sprinkle the churros with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- 9. Toss the churros until they are coated with cinnamon and sugar all over.
- 10. Slice the vanilla pod lengthwise.
- 11. Scrape out the fine vanilla seeds with a knife.
- 12. Chop the chocolate into coarse pieces.
- 13. Put the cream and vanilla seeds into a saucepan.
- 14. Heat the cream over medium heat.
- 15. Add the chopped chocolate to the warm cream.
- 16. Stir constantly until the chocolate has completely melted.
- 17. Let the sauce become smooth and homogeneous.
- 18. Season the sauce to taste with chili salt.
- 19. Add a little sugar if necessary to balance the heat.
- 20. Serve the warm churros with the chili-chocolate sauce.
