Ingredients
- butter 250 g
- Sugar 200 g
- Salt Pinch
- Vanilla extract 1 tsp
- Eggs 3 pcs
- Curd cheese, low-fat 300 g
- Wheat flour, Type 405 350 g
- Baking powder 3 tsp
- Nutmeg, ground Pinch
- Cinnamon Pinch
- Ginger powder Pinch
- Pistachios 60 g
- Citron 30 g
- Orange peel 30 g
- Cranberries, dried 50 g
- Powdered sugar 50 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 170 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 2. Line a deep muffin tin with tall paper liners.
- 3. Beat 200 grams of soft butter with sugar, a pinch of salt, and vanilla extract until creamy.
- 4. Stir each egg into the butter mixture individually for about 30 seconds.
- 5. Add the quark and mix it well with the flour.
- 6. Stir in the baking powder, nutmeg, cinnamon, and ginger.
- 7. Finely chop the pistachios, citron, orange peel, and cranberries.
- 8. Gently fold the chopped ingredients into the batter.
- 9. Fill the batter evenly into the paper liners using a large scoop.
- 10. Bake the muffins in the preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes.
- 11. Remove the muffins from the oven and brush them immediately with 50 grams of melted butter.
- 12. Sprinkle the powdered sugar over the still warm muffins.
