🍰 Christmas Tiramisu

Ingredients
- sour cherries in a jar 680 g
- cornstarch 40 g
- oranges 1 pc.
- cinnamon stick 1 pc.
- mascarpone 750 g
- powdered sugar 150 g
- vanilla extract 1 tsp
- curd cheese, low-fat 500 g
- whipping cream 400 g
- speculoos cookies 400 g
- black tea 240 ml
- cinnamon 1 tsp
- cocoa powder 50 g
Instructions
- 1. Mix the cherry juice with the cornstarch until no lumps remain.
- 2. Wash the orange and peel off 2 to 3 thin strips of zest, avoiding the white pith.
- 3. Place the orange zest strips into a pot.
- 4. Remove the remaining peel from the orange and separate the flesh segments into fillets.
- 5. Add the orange segments and the squeezed orange juice to the pot.
- 6. Add the cinnamon stick to the pot and bring the mixture to a boil.
- 7. Add the cherries once the mixture has thickened.
- 8. Allow the fruit filling to cool down.
- 9. Mix the mascarpone with the powdered sugar and vanilla extract until creamy.
- 10. Stir the quark into the mascarpone mixture.
- 11. Add the cream and whip the mixture until stiff.
- 12. Remove the cinnamon stick and orange zest from the cooled fruit filling.
- 13. Break the biscuits into coarse pieces.
- 14. Distribute the biscuit pieces into soufflé molds or small bowls.
- 15. Soak the biscuits with black tea.
- 16. Add a spoonful of cream onto the biscuits and spread it evenly.
- 17. Add a spoonful of fruit filling onto the cream.
- 18. Distribute more biscuit pieces over the fruit filling.
- 19. Soak the new biscuits again with a little black tea.
- 20. Add the remaining cream on top and smooth it out.
- 21. Place the desserts in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours.
- 22. Cut stars or other shapes out of paper.
- 23. Place the paper stencils onto the cold cream.
- 24. Mix cinnamon and cocoa powder in a bowl.
- 25. Place the dry mixture into a sieve.
- 26. Tap the sieve over the desserts to distribute the powder mixture evenly.
- 27. Carefully remove the paper stencils from the surface.
