  2. 2. Place the raisins in a bowl.
  3. 3. Pour the rum over the raisins.
  4. 4. Add 150 milliliters of hot water.
  5. 5. Let the mixture steep for about 5 minutes.
  6. 6. Roughly chop the plums, apricots, and nuts.
  7. 7. Cut the lemon in half.
  8. 8. Squeeze the juice from the lemon.
  9. 9. Peel the apple.
  10. 10. Cut the apple into quarters.
  11. 11. Remove the core from the apple quarters.
  12. 12. Grate the apple finely.
  13. 13. Drain the raisins using a sieve.
  14. 14. Combine the drained raisins, chopped dried fruits, nuts, and grated apple in a large bowl.
  15. 15. Mix the ingredients with 2 tablespoons of lemon juice.
  16. 16. Add the soft butter.
  17. 17. Add the breadcrumbs.
  18. 18. Add the flour.
  19. 19. Add the honey.
  20. 20. Add the eggs.
  21. 21. Add the spices.
  22. 22. Mix everything into a dough using a hand mixer with dough hooks.
  23. 23. Grease a deep bowl or pudding mold.
  24. 24. Fill the dough into the prepared mold.
  25. 25. Smooth the surface of the dough.
  26. 26. Place the pudding mold into a larger baking dish.
  27. 27. Fill the baking dish with hot water.
  28. 28. Ensure the water level is about 2 centimeters below the rim of the pudding mold.
  29. 29. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil.
  30. 30. Carefully place the baking dish on a rack in the oven.
  31. 31. Cook the pudding for about 3 hours.
  32. 32. Refill with water if necessary.
  33. 33. Remove the pudding mold from the oven.
  34. 34. Place a serving plate on top of the mold.
  35. 35. Invert the pudding onto the plate.
  36. 36. Cut the pudding into portions.
  37. 37. Serve the pudding.
