🍽️ Crispy Potato and Chorizo Skewers

Ingredients
- Potatoes, mainly waxy 5 pcs
- Salt pinch
- chorizo 400 g
- Thyme, fresh 10 g
- Garlic cloves 1 pc
- Olives, green 30 g
- Olive oil 4 tbsp
- Pepper, black ground pinch
Instructions
- 1. Fill a pot with water and add some salt. Bring the water to a boil.
- 2. Add the potatoes to the boiling water and cook them for about 20 minutes until tender.
- 3. Drain the potatoes and let them cool down.
- 4. Peel the cooled potatoes.
- 5. Slice the potatoes into rounds about 1 cm thick.
- 6. Remove the casing from the chorizo sausage.
- 7. Slice the chorizo into rounds as well.
- 8. Rinse the thyme under running water.
- 9. Shake the thyme dry.
- 10. Pick the thyme leaves off the stems.
- 11. Peel the garlic.
- 12. Finely chop the garlic.
- 13. Let the olives drain in a sieve.
- 14. Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in a pan over medium heat.
- 15. Fry the potato slices for about 3 to 4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- 16. Place the fried potatoes on a plate lined with kitchen paper to absorb excess oil.
- 17. Season the potatoes with salt and pepper.
- 18. Add the chorizo slices, thyme, and garlic to the same pan.
- 19. Fry the ingredients for about 2 minutes.
- 20. Thread a slice of chorizo, an olive, and a potato slice onto a toothpick.
- 21. Serve the skewers hot.
