🍲 Spicy Chili Lentil Stew

Ingredients
- vegetable broth 800 ml
- soup vegetables 1 bunch
- onions, yellow 1 pc.
- bell pepper 1 pc.
- lentils, red 200 g
- chili, ground pinch
- cumin pinch
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
Instructions
- 1. Pour the vegetable broth into a pot and bring it to a boil.
- 2. Thoroughly wash the soup vegetables.
- 3. Peel the vegetables if necessary and cut them into small cubes.
- 4. Halve the onion and peel it.
- 5. Finely dice the onion.
- 6. Wash the bell pepper and cut it open.
- 7. Remove the seeds and the stem from the bell pepper.
- 8. Dice the bell pepper.
- 9. Add the diced soup vegetables, onions, bell pepper, and lentils to the pot.
- 10. Let the stew simmer for about 15 minutes.
- 11. Season the stew with chili, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- 12. Serve the stew with a slice of bread if desired.
