Ingredients
- chili pepper Mix 2 pcs
- Cheddar Sliced Cheese 300 g
- Breadcrumbs 120 g
- Eggs 2 pcs
- Wheat Flour, Type 405 4 tbsp
- Salt Pin
- Pepper, black ground Pin
- Rose Paprika 2 tsp
- Frying Oil 2 L
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly wash the peppers under running water.
- 2. Halve the peppers and remove the seeds.
- 3. Dice the pepper flesh into very fine cubes.
- 4. Cut the cheddar cheese into small cubes or grate it finely.
- 5. Place the diced peppers and cheese into a bowl.
- 6. Add two tablespoons of water.
- 7. Knead the mixture with your hands until a uniform, homogeneous dough forms.
- 8. Shape the dough into small balls the size of walnuts.
- 9. Spread the breadcrumbs on a plate.
- 10. Whisk the egg with one tablespoon of water in a second plate.
- 11. Mix flour, salt, pepper, and paprika powder in a third plate.
- 12. Roll the cheese balls first in the seasoned flour mixture.
- 13. Then dip the balls into the egg mixture.
- 14. Finally, roll the balls in the breadcrumbs.
- 15. Press the coating slightly to ensure it sticks.
- 16. Dip the balls again briefly into the egg mixture.
- 17. Roll them one last time in the breadcrumbs.
- 18. Place the finished balls in the freezer until you are ready to fry them.
- 19. Heat the oil in a pot over high heat.
- 20. Fry the chili cheese balls in the hot oil for about two minutes until golden brown.
- 21. Remove the nuggets from the oil using a slotted spoon.
- 22. Let them drain on kitchen paper.
- 23. Enjoy the balls while they are hot.
