🍽️ Chili Cheese Fries

Ingredients
- frozen french fries 1 kg
- spring onions 1 bunch
- garlic cloves 1 pc.
- kidney beans 250 g
- oil 2 tbsp
- mixed ground meat 250 g
- barbecue sauce 2 tbsp
- tomatoes, chopped 200 g
- salt pinch
- pepper, black ground pinch
- chili, ground pinch
- Gouda, grated 100 g
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius with fan setting.
- 2. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- 3. Spread the french fries evenly on the tray.
- 4. Place the tray in the oven.
- 5. Bake the fries for about 20 minutes.
- 6. Remove the fries when they are golden brown.
- 7. Wash the spring onions under running water.
- 8. Dry the onions with a kitchen towel.
- 9. Cut off the hard root ends of the spring onions.
- 10. Slice the spring onions into thin rings.
- 11. Separate the white and green parts of the onions.
- 12. Finely chop the garlic cloves.
- 13. Open the can of kidney beans.
- 14. Drain the kidney beans in a sieve.
- 15. Pour the oil into a large frying pan.
- 16. Heat the oil on the highest setting.
- 17. Add the minced meat to the hot pan.
- 18. Fry the meat for about 4 minutes.
- 19. Break up the meat into small pieces with a spoon.
- 20. Add the white parts of the spring onions to the meat.
- 21. Add the chopped garlic.
- 22. Fry the vegetables for about 2 minutes.
- 23. Stir the barbecue sauce into the meat.
- 24. Add the drained kidney beans to the pan.
- 25. Fry the mixture briefly.
- 26. Add the chopped tomatoes to the pan.
- 27. Season the sauce with salt.
- 28. Season the sauce with pepper.
- 29. Season the sauce with chili.
- 30. Take the baking tray with the fries out of the oven.
- 31. Sprinkle salt over the hot fries.
- 32. Sprinkle pepper over the fries.
- 33. Sprinkle chili over the fries.
- 34. Distribute the meat mixture evenly over the fries.
- 35. Sprinkle the cheese over the chili mixture.
- 36. Place the tray back in the oven.
- 37. Bake the fries for about 5 minutes.
- 38. Remove the tray from the oven.
- 39. Sprinkle the green parts of the spring onions over the dish.
- 40. Serve the Chili Cheese Fries directly on the tray.
