  1. 1. Bring about 1 liter of salted water to a boil in a pot and cover it.
  2. 2. Halve the onions, peel them, and slice them into thin strips.
  3. 3. Wash the zucchini thoroughly, trim the ends, and cut them lengthwise into quarters.
  4. 4. Slice the zucchini quarters diagonally into thin pieces.
  5. 5. Wash the beans and remove the ends.
  6. 6. Cut the beans into pieces about 3 cm long.
  7. 7. Cook the beans in the boiling salted water for 8 to 10 minutes.
  8. 8. Drain the beans, rinse them with cold water, and let them drain.
  9. 9. Clean the pot.
  10. 10. Add the rice and 700 ml of salted water to the pot and bring to a boil.
  11. 11. Simmer the rice without the lid for about 10 minutes.
  12. 12. Wash the chicken and pat it dry thoroughly.
  13. 13. Cut the chicken into four strips of equal thickness.
  14. 14. Season the chicken strips with salt.
  15. 15. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan over high heat.
  16. 16. Fry the meat in the pan for about 2 minutes on all sides.
  17. 17. Place the chicken on a plate.
  18. 18. Do not clean the pan.
  19. 19. Mix 1 tablespoon of oil with chili in a bowl.
  20. 20. Add the chili oil to the pan with the pan drippings.
  21. 21. Fry the onions for 1 to 2 minutes over medium heat.
  22. 22. Add the zucchini.
  23. 23. Fry the vegetables for another 3 minutes.
  24. 24. Wash the limes and halve them.
  25. 25. Squeeze the juice from the lime halves.
  26. 26. Chop the peanuts coarsely.
  27. 27. Wash the basil and shake it dry.
  28. 28. Pluck the basil leaves from the stems.
  29. 29. Add the chicken and beans to the vegetables in the pan.
  30. 30. Season the mixture with soy sauce, sugar, and 3 tablespoons of lime juice.
  31. 31. Heat the pan for about 1 minute, stirring occasionally.
  32. 32. Stir in the basil at the end.
  33. 33. Fluff the rice with a fork.
  34. 34. Season the rice with the remaining lime juice.
  35. 35. Plate the chicken.
  36. 36. Garnish the dish with the peanuts.
