🍽️ Crispy Chicken Wings with Spicy Honey-Lime Paste

Ingredients
- Garlic cloves 1 pc.
- Organic limes 1 pc.
- Chicken wings 550 g
- Olive oil 4 tbsp
- Honey 1 tbsp
- Salt pinch
- Chili, ground pinch
Instructions
- 1. Peel the garlic cloves and chop them very finely.
- 2. Wash the lime thoroughly.
- 3. Cut the lime in half.
- 4. Squeeze the juice out of the lime.
- 5. Rinse the chicken wings under running water.
- 6. Pat the wings completely dry with a kitchen towel.
- 7. Place the chopped garlic into a large bowl.
- 8. Add the lime juice to the bowl.
- 9. Add the olive oil to the bowl.
- 10. Add the honey to the bowl.
- 11. Add the salt to the bowl.
- 12. Add the chili peppers or chili powder to the bowl.
- 13. Mix all ingredients in the bowl thoroughly.
- 14. Place the chicken wings into the marinade.
- 15. Place the bowl with the wings in the refrigerator.
- 16. Let the wings marinate for at least 10 minutes.
- 17. Ideally, let them sit in the fridge for 3 hours.
- 18. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius fan mode.
- 19. Take the chicken wings out of the marinade.
- 20. Save the remaining marinade in a separate container.
- 21. Place the chicken wings into a baking dish.
- 22. Place the baking dish into the preheated oven.
- 23. Bake the wings for about 25 to 30 minutes.
- 24. Turn the chicken wings after about 15 minutes of baking time.
- 25. Brush the wings halfway through baking with the saved marinade.
- 26. Take the crispy wings out of the oven.
- 27. Serve the chicken wings hot.
