  2. 2. Wash the lime thoroughly.
  3. 3. Cut the lime in half.
  4. 4. Squeeze the juice out of the lime.
  5. 5. Rinse the chicken wings under running water.
  6. 6. Pat the wings completely dry with a kitchen towel.
  7. 7. Place the chopped garlic into a large bowl.
  8. 8. Add the lime juice to the bowl.
  9. 9. Add the olive oil to the bowl.
  10. 10. Add the honey to the bowl.
  11. 11. Add the salt to the bowl.
  12. 12. Add the chili peppers or chili powder to the bowl.
  13. 13. Mix all ingredients in the bowl thoroughly.
  14. 14. Place the chicken wings into the marinade.
  15. 15. Place the bowl with the wings in the refrigerator.
  16. 16. Let the wings marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  17. 17. Ideally, let them sit in the fridge for 3 hours.
  18. 18. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius fan mode.
  19. 19. Take the chicken wings out of the marinade.
  20. 20. Save the remaining marinade in a separate container.
  21. 21. Place the chicken wings into a baking dish.
  22. 22. Place the baking dish into the preheated oven.
  23. 23. Bake the wings for about 25 to 30 minutes.
  24. 24. Turn the chicken wings after about 15 minutes of baking time.
  25. 25. Brush the wings halfway through baking with the saved marinade.
  26. 26. Take the crispy wings out of the oven.
  27. 27. Serve the chicken wings hot.
