🥤 Homemade Chai Tea

Ingredients
- cloves 0.5 tsp
- ginger, fresh 15 g
- vanilla pod 0.5 pc.
- cardamom, ground 0.5 tsp
- cinnamon 0.5 tsp
- pepper, black ground 1 tsp
- milk 400 ml
- water 600 ml
- black tea 4 g
- honey 1 tbsp
Instructions
- 1. Grind the cloves finely in a food processor or with a mortar.
- 2. Peel the ginger and cut it into small pieces.
- 3. Slice the vanilla pod lengthwise and scrape out the seeds with a knife.
- 4. Add the ground cloves, ginger, and vanilla seeds to a pot.
- 5. Pour the milk and water into the pot with the spices.
- 6. Heat the mixture over medium heat until it begins to boil.
- 7. Reduce the heat to low and let the tea steep for about 15 minutes.
- 8. Add the tea bags to the liquid and let them steep for another 3 minutes.
- 9. Strain the finished tea through a sieve into the cups.
- 10. Sweeten the tea to taste with honey and serve immediately.
