  1. 1. Grind the cloves finely in a food processor or with a mortar.
  2. 2. Peel the ginger and cut it into small pieces.
  3. 3. Slice the vanilla pod lengthwise and scrape out the seeds with a knife.
  4. 4. Add the ground cloves, ginger, and vanilla seeds to a pot.
  5. 5. Pour the milk and water into the pot with the spices.
  6. 6. Heat the mixture over medium heat until it begins to boil.
  7. 7. Reduce the heat to low and let the tea steep for about 15 minutes.
  8. 8. Add the tea bags to the liquid and let them steep for another 3 minutes.
  9. 9. Strain the finished tea through a sieve into the cups.
  10. 10. Sweeten the tea to taste with honey and serve immediately.
